This quaint orange and blue hotel holds only 19 rooms, so it has a boutique feel, despite its budget price. Across from Eagle Beach and less than 10 minutes from the nightlife and bars downtown, the two stories here have double rooms and family units that are all air-conditioned. Interiors are cheerful, painted and decorated with bright colors, all with a fridge and a terrace seat for views of the gardens (and ocean from the second-floor rooms). The location is great (the beach is less than a two-minute walk across the street), and while the hotel lacks high-rise amenities, its quiet spot makes a perfect retreat from downtown's hustle and bustle. There's a small pool, and an on-site restaurant, Tulip, which is a superb spot for Dutch and Caribbean dishes at good prices (tough to find in Aruba).
