Frommer's Review
This hotel just south of Ascot is a Victorian fantasy of medieval towers, steeply pitched roofs, and a landscaped garden. Drawing race-goers and businesspeople, it also caters to conferences (at which time it's best avoided). With their high ceilings and chintz, rooms evoke a private country house. The best rooms are in the main house and are more spacious and better decorated. Most of the other rooms are in a more modern annex with less character. Most rooms have a tub and shower. For optimum sunshine and more room, try to book room no. 360 or 369. A roof terrace has been installed for summer dining.
