Frommer's Review
This eatery is hip and urban, with a decor and ambience that might have been lifted directly from a stylish restaurant in a posh neighborhood in California. Breezy, airy, and comfortable, it offers seating on the sidewalk in front, or inside a high-ceilinged, artfully simple, long and narrow dining room. Owners Tracy and Mitchell Adler supervise the dining room and kitchen, respectively, of this place, whipping up dishes that are obviously making their diverse clientele happy. Lunches focus on salads, sandwiches, and platters such as rainbow trout with a blueberry-and-lime red butter sauce. Dinners are more elaborate, more leisurely, and more romantic, with dishes that include flash-seared tuna with pickled ginger and wasabi-flavored vinaigrette, breast of duck with braised fennel and pear and Grenache reduction, and breast of chicken dredged in pecans and finished with a whiskey-and-dijon-mustard glaze.
