If you're headed to the theater after dinner, let your waitstaff know. They will usually do whatever they can to make sure you aren't late! For a light post-theater meal, try Chateaulin .

If you're late for the theater or forgot to make dinner reservations, you can still get a slice or two of organic pizza at Cozmic Pizza, 143 A St. (tel. 541/482-0844; www.cozmicpizza.com), in the A Street Marketplace in the Railroad District. Food, Glorious Food! -- As you meander around southern Oregon, keep your eyes out for local gourmet foods. Some of my favorites include the chocolate bars produced by Ashland's Dagoba Organic Chocolate (www.dagobachocolate.com), the cocoa-covered cracked cocoa beans produced by Jacksonville's Lillie Belle Farms (www.lilliebellefarms.com) in Jacksonville, the savory and sweet tortas made by Rising Sun Farms (www.risingsunfarms.com) in Phoenix, and the buffalo sausage and jerky made by Full Circle Bison Ranch (www.fullcirclebisonranch.com) in Williams.
