Hotel Alexander ReviewThe Alexander evokes the feeling that you're visiting your Umbrian parents' house. The good-size accommodations in this medieval building across the street from where St. Francis was born are carpeted and scattered with rugs and Savonarola chairs for atmosphere. They have clean white walls, comfy beds, and fairly new bathrooms. Most of the rooms have multiple beds, which together with the homelike atmosphere makes the place great for families. The separately owned Pizzeria Otello underneath will even make pizza to go, so you can bring it back and really feel at home.
