Frommer's Review
For years, the elegantly comfortable Dining Room at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead was the domain of nationally celebrated chef Bruno Menard. When Menard left, hotel management launched an international search for a new chef. Enter Arnaud Berthelier, who admits he learned to cook so he could travel. He's found his groove in Atlanta and in the Dining Room, where patrons come expecting a fantastic experience and never leave disappointed. From service to cuisine, it doesn't get much better than this. Berthelier successfully pushes the envelope with the French, Spanish, and North African influences evident in his menu. An impeccable cheese service is available, as well as a host of desserts, including a cart filled with chocolate treats. Among the specialties is a Cuban chocolate tart -- very rich but very worth it. Share the experience with a dining partner. Jackets are required for men.
