Frommer's Review
The Blue Ridge Grill's Adirondacks-style interior has the woodsy warmth of a national park lodge: stone pillars, weathered logs, and a soaring pine ceiling with massive heart pine beams salvaged from an old cotton mill. But this spot is as upscale as it is rustic, with antiques, original artwork, and cozy leather booths.
Blue Ridge Grill used to specialize in contemporary Southern cuisine, but the menu is vastly different now, with mostly traditional American fare such as steaks, chops, and seafood. The only remotely Southern items are collard greens and Georgia trout. As in many other restaurants these days, the emphasis is on two-fisted portions: a 22-ounce rib-eye, a 14-ounce veal chop, and huge sides of spinach, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and so on. Note: As you drive here along West Paces Ferry Road, remember to look for Northside Parkway, not Northside Drive, which you'll pass first.
