Frommer's Review
Pricci is strikingly glamorous, with part of its drama stemming from an open kitchen where a team of white-toqued chefs engage in a culinary frenzy around an oak-fired pizza oven. The decor is also theatrical -- Art Deco chrome and brass dividers, rich decorative woods, cozy banquettes, and a snazzy bar. The downside is the noise; it's hard to escape all the dining clatter.
Pricci's fare is hearty regional Italian cuisine: thin-crusted oak-fired pizzas, pastas such as beef short-rib ravioli, osso buco with borlotti beans and gremolata, and so on. The specialty of the house, which serves two, is an excellent whole roasted fish with grilled asparagus. A good value on the lunch menu is the three-pasta tasting. The award-winning wine list highlights every wine-producing region of Italy and features a good selection of grappa (an Italian brandy).
