Frommer's Review
At the corner of Peachtree and Lenox roads, in the heart of upscale Buckhead, is one of the many big stars in the constellation of fine-dining establishments that make up the locally owned and operated Buckhead Life Restaurant Group. Part of the restaurant's success comes from the setting itself: a dramatic, multi-level space with a flashy lounge and sushi bar, soaring ceilings, and a plush contemporary decor with Asian touches. There's a lot of energy and noise in the lounge/sushi bar in the "point" of the building, but it's possible to have a decent conversation in the restaurant portion of the establishment.
The specialty here is seafood, with Asian flavors that give the dishes a contemporary edge. Menus change frequently, depending on what's fresh and available, but might include such delicious options as peanut-crusted grouper in Indian curry, or perhaps scallops with sushi-rice cakes and passion-fruit butter. There are also prime steaks and a delectable lobster. A house specialty is salt-crusted prime rib for two, which looks as if it could serve four people. Everything is beautifully presented, and the service is impeccable.
