Frommer's Review
Atlanta is lucky to be one of a few American cities with an authentic southern Brazilian-style churrascaria (grilled-meat restaurant). No vegetarian would be caught dead in this place, as the highlights here are meat, meat, and more meat. From top sirloin, filet mignon, and pork ribs to lamb, rumpsteak, and pork loin, Fogo de Chão seasons each meat selection to perfection before slow-roasting it over a flame to bring out the natural flavors. As you make your way to the 30-item salad bar -- one of the best in the city, I might add -- and enjoy your side dishes of black beans, fried yucca, garlic mashed potatoes, and cheese bread, the traditional "Gaucho" cooks and waiters will present the savory cuts of meat on skewers and slice them tableside. It's a one-price-fits-all menu. Fogo has become one of the city's most popular restaurants, so reserve in advance if possible.
