Frommer's Review
Since opening in 2000, Aria has remained a hit among the dozens of top-quality dining choices in the busy Buckhead area. The eclectic gourmet makings of chef/owner Gerry Klaskala are consistently delightful. He seems to have hit the nail on the head with his version of "slow food" -- braised, roasted, stewed, and patiently simmered savory meats paired with scrumptious, innovative sides. Here, cooking is considered an art form -- and anything less than spectacular is not allowed. Seasonal ingredients are the norm, as are fresh seafood selections. If it's offered, don't miss the chilled Vidalia-onion vichyssoise. Among my favorite entrees is the oak-grilled Springer Mountain chicken with ricotta-stuffed tortellini and spinach. The extensive wine selection wins raves, and delights from pastry chef Kathryn King complete the meal.
