Organized Tours
The best way to introduce yourself to Augusta is to contact Historic Augusta Tours (tel. 706/724-4067; www.augustaga.org), which conducts tours every Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30pm. The tour leaves from the Museum of History Building at 5 Reynolds St. Reservations are required by noon the Friday before. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
