Frommer's Review
Once you step inside, you'll feel as though you're in a private luxury property rather than a chain lodging just off the freeway. The dominant style is Spanish colonial. The reception area has polished Mexican-tile floors and carved-wood ceiling beams, and, in keeping with the hacienda theme, rooms are arranged around a lushly landscaped courtyard, dotted with umbrella-shaded tables. Guest quarters, renovated in 2004 in earth tones, are airy and spacious, if just a bit dull. Wherever you stay, you needn't walk very far to reach your car as all the sleeping floors have direct access, via room key, to the parking garage. And although the airport is no longer nearby, the businesses that used to cater to air travelers remain, plus you're within minutes of a variety of restaurants and shops.
