Frommer's Review
The Austin Chamber Music Center is an organization of Austinites, many from the symphony orchestra and the university music school, who are interested in performing a wide range of compositions in small ensembles, usually quartets. Concerts usually take place in churches or at private residences to small audiences of appreciative locals. Performances may include works by anyone from a classical composer such as Mozart to a modern composer such as Glen Gould to a tango composer such as Astor Piazzolla. The best way to find the concerts is to check the center's website (www.austinchambermusic.org).
