This series of narrow rooms, done in black and white with retro minimalist furnishings, is the place to see and be seen in Austin for those who've long eschewed Sixth Street. A sophisticated crowd sips the most creative drinks in town and nibbles intriguing appetizers which are served until 10pm, when things start kicking inside and the line begins to stack up outside. Oslo regularly exhibits the work of local experimental artists and plays host to a strong roster of the city's finest DJs, as well as live performers like regular Tuesday-night torch singer, Hedda Layne.
