Auberge de Cassagne ReviewThis could be your best bet for food and lodging in the greater Avignon area. The hotel, set in a park, is an enchanting little Provençal inn. The country-style rooms, most of which are connected by the pleasant, tree-studded inner courtyard, have been recently renovated and feature fine Provençal linens. The cuisine is exceptionally good, much of it in the style of Paul Bocuse. You can enjoy your meals in an elegantly rustic dining room or at a table in the garden. The kitchens feature dishes such as a duo of turbot and salmon served with a ragout of mushrooms, foie gras braised in port wine, and tagliatelle with a confit of tomatoes and olive oil.
