Built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in the 1870s, the manor features French Renaissance architecture and a variety of French furniture, carpets, and porcelain. Eighteenth-century artwork by several famous English and Dutch painters is exhibited, and, of course, you can view wine cellars. In the surrounding gardens, an aviary houses exotic birds. On the premises are a restaurant and a gift shop, both featuring a vast assortment of Rothschild wines.
