This government-rated four-star hotel in the town's center is the resort's finest. The conservatively designed building has stone detailing, and its rustic interior offers fireplaces, beamed ceilings, and comfortable furniture. Rooms are a bit small, with a balcony, good beds, and small bathrooms (usually with tub/shower combinations). Housekeeping gets high marks. The hotel restaurant serves a sampling of excellent Austrian and international dishes, with fresh ingredients used whenever possible. Main courses are 13€ to 22€ ($17-$29), and are served daily from noon to 2pm and 6:30 to 9:30pm. The restaurant also offers a four-course fixed-priced menu at 39€ ($51) and a six-course fixed-priced menu at 50€ ($65). The area's sporting facilities are easily accessible from here.
