Park-Restaurant serves some of the best food in the center of Baden-Baden, although its cuisine is not quite as refined as that of Zum Alde Gott on the outskirts. This is one of the renowned spa dining rooms of Europe, and the cuisine and service are definitely worth the high price. The emphasis is on French (Alsatian) dishes. Based on market-fresh produce, some of the more alluring specialties are saddle of venison with cranberries, or the roasted monkfish with a tomato confit. A spectacular dessert is the warm chocolate cake with a liquid core.
