Frommer's Review
Stahlbad is a luxury restaurant with an elegant decor. Although its food may not be as good as Park-Restaurant's , it's the most tranquil and charming choice in the center of town, mainly because of its garden terrace. The owner, Frau Uschi Mönch, welcomes you in the dining room. The decor and atmosphere evoke a tavern, with prints, copper vessels, antique pewter plates, mugs, and engravings. Continental specialties are pepper steak and venison steak (in hunting season), fresh fish, and lobster thermidor (very expensive). The homemade fettuccine Alfredo with white truffles (in season) is as good as any you'll have in Rome.
