Alpenblick

This is a well-managed hotel whose charms are especially obvious in summer, when a garden with a small kneipe (pub) and lots of flowing water and flowering shrubs make it an alpine idyll. And, in winter, guests can ski almost to the building's front door. Its core, built around 1900, continued to grow, just like Topsy, with enlargements and renovations. This chalet has a side wing containing comfortable rooms with balconies and big windows offering mountain views. Beds are good, and the bathrooms, although tiny, are tidily kept. Well-prepared and rather hearty meals are served in the timbered and beamed dining room. In summer, a children's playground with a trampoline is featured.
