Villa Hubertus

Unpretentious and evocative of the final days of the Hapsburgs, this government-rated two-star hotel, a 5-minute walk from the center of town, was built as a Jugendstil-inspired villa in 1908. Two rooms have private balconies; the others are simple but comfortably outfitted. The on-site restaurant is open only to residents. The room used for breakfast and resident dinners is especially noteworthy, as it is pure Jugendstil in design with an authentic turn-of-the-20th-century decor.
