Grand Park Hotel

Originally constructed in the 1920s, this government-rated five-star hotel was completely rebuilt in the early 1990s and reopened in 1994. It's a majestic, classically styled building set in its own birch-filled park, with a swimming pool and lawn chairs on the grassy lawns around it. The elegant interior is filled with stone and polished wood, plush carpets, and shining brass. Rooms are handsomely furnished and beautifully maintained, with excellent beds and ample bathrooms. The hotel restaurant, open to nonguests, is one of the area's finest, serving Austrian and international cuisine. A pianist entertains every evening.
