Getting There By Train -- The train ride takes 1 1/2 hours from Munich's Hauptbahnhof. By Car -- From Munich, motorists can take the Autobahn A8 or A9 toward Salzburg. Exit at Holzkirchen and follow signs southward toward Bad Tölz.
