In the very heart of the Renaissance town, this is one of the most convenient places to dine when you're exploring the town's monuments. The decor is in a traditional regional style, warm and inviting. The staff is cordial and helpful in guiding you through the menu of regional dishes. We were especially pleased with the fresh fish dishes, especially the salmon with a champagnelike wine sauce and the grilled hake (merluza) with fresh, locally grown vegetables. Main dishes such as pork cutlets and barbecued entrecôte of veal with green peppers are also satisfying. Desserts are made fresh daily.
