Planning a Trip

Getting There -- Several trains on the Palermo-Messina line stop at Bagheria, which also lies on the Santa Flavia-Solunto-Porticello line. Buses operated by AST also run here from Palermo, leaving from both the Stazione Centrale and Piazza Lolli. By car from Palermo, taking the coastal route (113) via Ficarazzi is easier than going to the trouble of getting on the autostrada (A19).
