Noches Oaxaqueñas/Don Porfirio

This dinner show presents the colorful, traditional folkloric dances of Oaxaca in an open-air courtyard reminiscent of an old hacienda (but in a modern strip mall). The dancers perform traditional ballet under the direction of owner Celicia Flores Ramírez, wife of Don Willo Porfirio. House specialties include grilled lobster, shrimp with mescal flambéed at the table, and spaghetti marinara with seafood, along with a fountain of seafood that includes shrimp, octopus, and snails, all cooked on hot grills right in front of your table. Meat lovers will enjoy American-style cuts or a juicy arrachera (skirt steak). The Guelaguetza Show, showcases an important annual cultural celebration in Oaxaca. There are two-for-one specials for children, and the show normally takes place nightly at 8pm during high season, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights at 8pm in low season. You should confirm showtimes before making a reservation, since timings are somewhat sporadic.
