Planning a TripGetting There By Train -- The Bamberg Bahnhof is on the Stuttgart-Hof and the Berlin-Munich rail lines, with frequent connections in both directions. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9:30am to 6pm, Saturday to Sunday 9:30am to 2:30pm (Jan-Mar closed Sun). Getting Around A well-run network of buses fans out from the Zentralomnibusbahnhof on Promenadestrasse, next to the railway station. A single ride for Zone 1 costs 1.40€; a single ride for Zone 1 and 2 goes for 2.80€.
