Golf
The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course (tel. 403/762-6801) rolls out along the Bow River beneath towering mountain peaks. One of the most venerable courses in Canada, and one of the most expensive, it offers 27 holes of excellent golf. Although associated with the resort hotel, the course is open to the public.
