This is a reasonable option in high-priced Banff; the rooms in this spiffy motel are large, well-maintained, and relatively contemporary, and the short stroll to Banff Avenue is an amenity that usually isn't listed, but does factor into the cost. Every room has a balcony or patio; all have king- or queen-size beds. Some have a bathroom that splits the room into two separate sleeping areas, which is great for privacy if you want to put 4 people in a room. The motel recently undertook a light renovation, though not on the rooms themselves, which are tidy, but dated; however, the slick new lobby and chic wood-slat façade give it a contemporary sheen. The new hot tub, in the middle of the interior courtyard, doesn't offer a lot of privacy, but it's bigger and better than it was.
