Located a 5-minute walk from downtown, the Banff Aspen is a very well-maintained motel that offers reasonably good value for the dollar -- remember, this is Banff. Rooms are quite large and pleasantly decorated, all with twin vanities and king- or queen-size beds. Some are divided into two sleeping areas by the bathroom, a great configuration for families or groups. All units have balconies or patio access.
