Frommer's Review
This restaurant fronting the beach has a casual atmosphere during the day, which becomes more elegant in the evening. When you're appreciating the dining room's muslin curtains, polished wood floors, and an open-to-view kitchen, it's hard to believe this space was once a garage. Top chefs cooking for a discerning international clientele turn out Caribbean fish pie (especially delectable with its cheesy mashed potatoes), blackened dolphin, and such fusion dishes as a Thai green king-prawn curry. Downstairs Mediterranean and modern European dishes, along with Barbadian specialties, are the focus, whereas the culinary delights of Southeast Asia are served upstairs -- mainly Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese dishes. You can even get Japanese dishes such as sushi and sashimi. Such fruits de mer as king prawns, crab legs, pure Iranian caviar, and fresh oysters add to the utterly delightful but frighteningly expensive seafood selections.
