Harking back to the Barbados of many years ago, the battered, breeze-filled restaurant, with its sweeping view of the turbulent ocean, is often filled with both Bajans and visitors midway through their tours of Barbados' windswept Atlantic coast. It's located between Cattlewash-on-Sea and Tent Bay on the east (Atlantic) coast. The copious buffets are one of the best values on the island. You can sample such Bajan foods as pumpkin fritters, peas and rice, macaroni and cheese, souse (pigs' feet marinated in lime juice), and Bajan pepper pot. No one ever leaves hungry.
