This is one of our favorite restaurants on Barbados's south shore, with good food, relatively moderate prices, and an unpretentious venue. You enter through a cocktail bar that invites you to linger, past a collection of paintings by local artists that are for sale. A sprawling deck stretches toward the sea with both indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor (trade winds-conditioned) dining areas. Menu items change often, but may include spiced deep-fried calamari with ginger-teriyaki sauce, parmesan-crusted barracuda with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, oven-roasted rack of lamb, veal chops with Stilton blue cheese garnish, and penne pasta with cream sauce and grilled shrimp.
