This complex is one of the best bargains on Barbados and is ideal for families. Directly on a rocky shoreline 4km (2 1/2 miles) southeast of Bridgetown, the hotel is in the heart of the village of Hastings. The U-shaped complex is built around a pool terrace overlooking the sea. Functional and minimalist in decor, the accommodations are clean and comfortable, with tiny but fully equipped kitchenettes. You face a choice of a regular hotel room, a studio, or a one-bedroom suite. All have balconies or decks, and some units have air-conditioning. Each unit has a small bathroom with a shower stall; only three occupants are allowed in a double room.

Although some athletic guests attempt to swim off the nearby rocks, most walk 5 minutes to the white sands of nearby Rockley (Accra) Beach. A small restaurant on the property serves very average American and Bajan fare.
