Built in 2005, this sleekly modern and friendly hotel was a pioneer of fine lodging in El Raval, an area once known for budget pensions. It fronts the park of La Rambla del Raval, an up-and-coming cafe district. Rooms are compact but well-designed with adequate space and contemporary bathrooms, most with tub-showers. Set just far enough off Les Rambles to avoid the crowds, it’s still convenient to walk to the contemporary art museum as well as most attractions in the Barri Gòtic.
