The Mansion Tarahumara spreads across a mountainside above the train stop at Posada Barrancas. The setting is lovely. The cabin rooms offer more privacy and space than the hotel rooms, but not direct views of the canyon. Made of stone and wood, each room has a big fireplace, a wall heater, and two double beds. The castlelike structure, which is the first thing that catches the guest's eye, houses the restaurant and bar. It offers lovely views from its big windows and good food from its kitchen.
