Opened by the delightfully camp Brian Wallace in the early 1990s, Red Gate has regular exhibitions featuring the work of its dozen or so artists. The Dongbian Men watchtower (admission ¥5/65¢/35p) provides an airy and atmospheric viewing space. Open daily 10am to 5pm.
