In the Mount Baker Theater building, this romantic little cafe is, of course, the perfect spot for dinner before the show, but it's also a good choice for a flavorful lunch or dinner even if you're not on the way to a performance. The menu is always eclectic and usually reflects current trends in flavor combinations, but you can be sure you'll find plenty of Asian and Mediterranean influences. The garlic-Parmesan prawns is a good bet, as is the Thai coconut curry chicken if you like Thai food. Also keep an eye out for the passion fruit sorbet. Lunches are among the most creative in the city, and many of the same dishes served at dinner are also served at lunch. There's also an excellent wine list.
