Located at the north end of town on the banks of a narrow stretch of the Deschutes River, the Riverhouse is one of the best hotel deals in the state; and with its golf course and other resort facilities, it's an economical choice for anyone who wants resort amenities without the high prices. Try to get a ground-floor room; these allow you to step off your patio and almost jump right into the Deschutes. However, the rooms on the upper floor have a better view of this rocky stretch of river. The hotel's main dining room also has a view of the river, and there's a poolside cafe and a lounge that features a variety of live entertainment. Without a doubt, this is the best deal in Bend. Book early.
