An enduring favorite, the Whaleboner is still going strong, serving Bequia's most authentic local dishes. Inside, the bar is carved from the jawbone of a giant whale, and the barstools are made from the vertebrae. The owners serve the best pizza on the island, along with a selection of fish and chips and well-made sandwiches for lunch. At night, you choose among lobster, fish, chicken, or steak. We prefer the curried-conch dinner beginning with the callaloo soup. The bar often stays open later than 10:30pm, depending on the crowd. On Monday, Friday, and Saturday there is live music.
