One of the most appealing bargains in Berchtesgaden is this well-built chalet-inspired hotel. Operated by live-in managers, the Grafe family, and permeated with a sense of alpine thrift and good cheer, it offers cozy rooms sheathed with varnished pine. Each has a balcony or terrace and a compact bathroom containing a shower or tub.
