Friendly captains offer glass-bottom snorkel cruises aboard an 18m (59-ft.) motorized catamaran. The design allows the boat to anchor in very shallow waters, which is ideal for novices or unsure swimmers. The cost -- around $60 (£31) per person for a 3 1/2-hour cruise -- includes free use of snorkeling equipment and the expertise of a crew that really knows the marine life of Bermuda's offshore reefs. There are a cash bar and a shower onboard. Cruises are at 9am on Monday, 9am and 1pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and Friday at 9am.
