Frommer's Review
This is the main dining room of the Reefs, and is open to nonguests as well. Against a backdrop of typical Bermudian architecture, including solid limestone walls, a finely honed cuisine is presented. The entire menu changes daily, but many dishes, at least the most popular ones, are regularly repeated. This rather formal restaurant opens onto a private beach. Tantalizing appetizers include jumbo crab cakes or a prawn risotto with crimini mushrooms, corn, and Pancetta bacon. Fresh soups are made daily, not just the standard Bermuda fish chowder, but also such favorites as leek and potato soup with potato sticks. For your main course, you might opt for the roasted duck breast "au poivre," with horseradish whipped potatoes, cognac, and peppercorns. For dessert, no one can top the blueberry cheesecake with a fruit coulis. You can also order the "world's smallest chocolate mousse parfait."
