In a semitropical setting in the center of the island, this is a good choice for self-sufficient types, although we think you get a better deal at the Paraquet Guest Apartments. The complex of typically pink Bermuda buildings lies a short walk from Elbow Beach and a number of food markets and tennis courts. Ferry and bus connections to the rest of Bermuda are easily accessible. These midsize cottages and studios are in a garden, and contain kitchens, living rooms, and private balconies, along with small tiled bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. The decor is minimalist but comfortable, with good beds.
