This modern and boisterous brewpub, on prime real estate at the corner of Route 2 and the Sunday River access road, is a good choice if your primary objective is to quaff robust ales and porters. The brews are awfully good; the food (burgers, nachos, and chicken wings) doesn't strive for any culinary heights, and certainly doesn't achieve any. If you want good pub fare, you're better off headed up Sunday River Road to try Great Grizzly American Steakhouse . Come early if you're looking for a quiet meal; it gets loud later in the evening when bands take the stage.
