Getting There -- The Conwy Valley line between Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestiniog passes through Betws-y-Coed with three trains daily. For rail information and schedules, call tel. 0845/748-4950 or visit www.nationalrail.co.uk.

The Express bus company services Betws-y-Coed from both Llandudno and Porthmadog. For schedules, call tel. 0844/800-4411 or visit www.arriva.co.uk.

Motorists from Llandudno can take A470 south.

Visitor Information -- For information about the town and Snowdonia National Park, head for the local tourist office at Holyhead Road in the town center (tel. 01690/710426; www.betws-y-coed.co.uk). It's open from Easter to October daily 10am to 1pm and 1:30 to 6pm; off-season hours are daily 9:30am to 1pm and 1:30 to 4:30pm.
