Planning a Trip

Getting There -- Bezau has no railway connections. Most travelers take one of the many daily trains to Dornbirn, a 15-minute ride south of Bregenz. Around 20 buses depart every day from Dornbirn; the trip to Bezau takes about 50 minutes.

If you're driving from Bregenz, head south on the A14 to the junction with Route 200. Cut east along this winding road to Bezau, which lies 36km (22 miles) from Bregenz.

Visitor Information -- The tourist office, Platz 39 (tel. 05514/2295), is in the center of town. It's open year-round Monday to Friday from 9am to noon and 1:30 to 5:30pm, Saturday 9am to noon.
