Frommer's Review
Set at the base of the hill on which sits medieval Biot, this well-managed and intimate inn was built in the early 1990s in the form of three villa-inspired low-rise buildings clustered within a palm-studded garden around a rectangular swimming pool. Each unit has its own terrace or balcony, views of the pool or garden, and, in some cases, panoramas of medieval Biot rising dramatically on the slopes above. Color schemes, both around the pool and within the bedrooms, reflect the ochers, strong yellows, and verdant greens of Provence; throughout, floors are sheathed with slabs of flagstones. The Mascella-Torgoman family (Cherif and Christine) maintain this place much like a private home where friends of the family happen to drop in for extended stays. The hotel does not have a reception desk, per se, but rather an informal ambience that might remind you of a private house party.
No formalized restaurant or bar is on the premises, but drinks and light luncheon platters and salads are served informally around the pool.
