In India this restaurant's name refers to "bright young things," but in Birmingham it stands for the finest Indian cuisine in this part of England. A carefully selected menu featuring mostly Indian and Sri Lankan dishes is served by a very courteous staff in this relaxed, elegant restaurant. Main dish specialties include lamb Karahi (braised in spicy masala of garlic with ginger, onions, and tomatoes). Chicken tikka masala comes in a smooth and creamy sauce, and lamb roganjosh is a rich, spicy dish. Another favorite is king prawns in a tomato-and-onion masala. The restaurant also functions as a dance club. Special buffets complement the main menu, ranging from the two-course gourmet banquet at £25 ($50) to the four-course royal banquet at £50 ($100). Parking is available on Tennent Street behind the restaurant.
