The Imperial Hotel ReviewThis is Blackpool's choice address. Noted as a stylish venue for group conferences, this hotel was built by the Victorians -- Charles Dickens was a guest -- as a massive redbrick pile, and it's still a major landmark in town. Recent renovations added vestiges of 19th-century country-house stateliness to the public areas and some of the bedrooms, and a scattering of artwork related to such genteel pleasures as "the hunt."
